李周坤,男,河南信阳人,理学博士,副教授,硕士研究生导师,现为威廉希尔williamhill官方网站微生物学系教师。主要从事黏细菌资源开发与利用相关研究,基于黏细菌种质资源评价,聚焦黏细菌与土壤微生物互作及黏细菌糖酶生物学功能等基础研究,探索黏细菌在植物病害控制、复杂生物质与废弃物生物转化中的应用性;相关研究成果发表在ISME J、Nature Communications、Microbiome、Appl Environ Microbiol、Food Chem 等期刊上。担任Foods与Frontiers in Microbiology等期刊Guest Editor。

科研情况
黏细菌(Myxobacteria)在系统进化上属于phyla Myxococcota,是一类具有多细胞群体行为特征的微生物类群,具有复杂的生活史,能够形成类似于真菌的多形态子实体结构,被认为是高等的原核生物;黏细菌广泛分布于不同生境,能够以活的微生物细胞或者其他生物大分子作为食物获取营养,同时能够响应外界营养阈值进而调控营养细胞分化为抗逆性强的黏孢子,从而使黏细菌类群具有良好的环境适应性。黏细菌对于细菌和真菌的捕食特性及其生物质转化能力使其在土壤微生物食物网和土壤物质循环中扮演着重要的角色,表现出较强的进化适应性。本实验室以黏细菌为资源开展相关研究工作:
(1)黏细菌与植物病原菌互作机制Predator(myxobacteria)-Prey(plant pathogen)interactions
黏细菌作为土壤微生物食物网的顶端捕食者,其捕食特性和良好的土壤适应性使其在土壤微生物生态网络调控和植物病害控制方面具有重要的应用价值。本实验室通过鉴定捕食性黏细菌与植物病原菌互作过程中的关键因子,阐明捕食者(攻击)与猎物(防御)的互作机制及其适应性进化行为,解析黏细菌群体行为的生物学功能,为黏细菌应用于农业生产过程中植物病害控制提供基础。
(2)黏细菌来源的新酶资源开发与利用Industrial enzyme from myxobacteria and its application
黏细菌在生长过程中能够分泌不同类型的水解或氧化酶类,在黏细菌生长代谢和捕食过程具有特殊的生物学功能。本实验室主要针对黏细菌来源的病原菌细胞壁裂解酶CWDEs、淀粉酶、木聚糖酶等糖苷水解酶GHs和酯酶等,筛选具有优良催化特性的酶资源,解析酶催化的分子机制及其生物学功能,并评价其作为抗病因子、高附加值功能糖制备以及废弃物生物转化等方面的应用潜力。
